YUEN STOREのサステナブルブランド紹介

Introducing YUEN STORE's sustainable brands

Two brands from YUEN STORE that are slowly changing our daily lives and the world

YUEN STORE operates two brands as part of its efforts towards a sustainable future.
Rerer is a company that creates things that people would be happy to have, centering around upcycling, and PROJECT1000 is a company that creates products using handiwork by women in rural India.

■ rerer|Rere

The brand name comes from the three R's: realize, reduce, and resource.
It all started with focusing on materials that are discarded invisibly from factories and industries, and giving them new value and a story to tell.

For example, airbags.
Once their useful life is complete, these materials would otherwise be discarded, but we turn them into bags and accessories instead.
By incorporating a bit of playfulness into the designs, we aim to create items that go beyond simple "recycling" and become things that people will want to pick up in their daily lives.

The brand symbol is a unique triangle.
The design symbolizes the three elements of recycling, eco and SDGs, and is stylish yet with a twist.

■ PROJECT1000|Project 1000

In rural India, women have limited access to education and employment.
PROJECT1000 was launched to highlight the handicrafts made by these women and to support their independence and stability in their lives.

The materials used are cut and sew waste from factories.
Each item is handmade, so you can enjoy the individual differences as they are.
We hope you will be able to experience the opposite value to mass production -- the warmth that comes with time and the cycle that supports someone's life.

What I want to deliver

It's not just a "thing", but the story and thoughts behind it.

Holding it in your hands can help you feel a little better,
I feel a little closer to someone's life and environment,
I hope we can continue to connect in a relaxed manner like that.

A small but certain cycle spreads from YUEN STORE.
I hope this will give you some hints in your daily choices.
