What is PROJECT1000? PROJECT1000 is an employment project created by "Shanti," an NPO established by the TecnoCraft Group, a listed company in India. Its aim is to provide women in rural Maharashtra, India, with skills training to enable them to earn 1,000 rupees a day, while also boosting their motivation. Products are entirely handmade by individuals who have acquired expertise in product knowledge, design, techniques, and quality control.
